The Volkswagen Jetta is a 4-door body style model available in both sedan and sports wagon cars. The sedan versions are offered in five versions, while the sports wagon models are offered in four versions. The sedan versions are base model S, TDI, Wolfsburg, SE and SEL, where as the sports wagon offers excluding Wolfsburg model. The current generation Volkswagen Jetta recalls the previous versions of Jetta with its same body style, but with added features and performance.

Engine

All the Jetta versions are powered by a standard 2.0 liter I-5 engine that produces power up to 140 hp and torque of 236 lb ft and it also offers 2.5 liter I-4 engine as optional. The I-4 engines offered as optional suits well only for the TDI variants, where as the I-5 can fit to any model. Volkswagen Jetta recalls the older engine models, but with more power and performance.

Performance

With the powerful engine, the model can achieve fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon in the city premises, while it can achieve 30 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The TDI version of this model can produce more fuel economy in comparison to the other models.
