The current generation Volkswagen Jetta Passat is a four door family sedan model available in two different trim levels, namely the Komfort PZEV and Komfort. It has the seating capacity to accommodate up to 5 passengers.

Upon introduction, both the trim models are powered by a standard 2.0 liter inline-4 engine that produces power up to 200 hp at an angular speed of 5500 rpm. With the powerful engine, the Jetta Passat model can achieve the fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon in the city premises and 29 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The engine in the model is paired to the six-speed automatic transmission.
The two mid-sized models, Jetta and Jetta Passat look identical in terms of structure and body style, while they two differ in performance and power. The Jetta model offers three different engines, while the Passat offers only one engine. The 2.0 liter I4 engine in the Passat delivers same torque as the Jetta model.

The current generation Jetta Passat is a luxurious model, with all the luxury amenities featured in the model. It has the standard luxury features provided in the model include leather simulated trim seats, 12 way power driver seat, 10 speaker Dyn audio system, and navigation system with audible and visual commands through center console display touch screen control.
