The Newest Addition To Volkswagen’s Jetta Lineup
The 2010 Volkswagen Jetta model is a sports wagon class car that comes in 4-door body style. With its new engine, the car achieves the fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon in city streets, while it achieves 41 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

The 2010 model comes with the Turbo charged 2.0 liter diesel I4 engine and built on the four door TDI style. It has the capacity to accommodate five passengers and comes in four door station wagon design. The vehicle is offered in 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
The 2010 Jetta looks similar to the current model when seen casually. The changes in the model include a redesigned lower front fascia and duller grille, but no changes are made to the rear side and interiors.
The main competitors to the new Jetta will be Cruze, Civic and Toyota Altis. The Jetta offers great fuel economy and high reliability. With the efficient fuel economy system in the engine, Jetta broke the world record by registering 26 kilo meters per liter on the roads of United States.
The 2010 Volkswagen comes with an option of clean diesel engine. The company looks to be sticking with the clean diesel option as the recent Jetta TDI showed best results in fuel usage. According to the Car and Driver magazine, the automobile company unveiled its plans to come with the same engine in the 2010 Jetta model. The 2010 model will be available in both the sport wagon and in sedan configurations.
